Summer Reading Program

Join the Summer Reading Program for reading fun and activities all summer long! 

We are excited to present the 2022 Summer Reading Program, Oceans of Possibilities. Open to all, ages 0 to 122. Together, let's make waves and read 1,000,000 minutes this summer! 

Dates to Remember:

  • June 1: Registration opens
  • June 4: Kickoff Party! 2-4 p.m.
  • July 31: Summer Reading Program concludes
  • August 4: Grand Finale Celebration! 2-4 p.m.

Registration opens June 1, 2022. Sign up online or stop by the library to register and pick up your goodie bag.

Camps, Classes, and Clubs: Pre-Registration Required

The following Summer Reading Program camps and clubs require pre-registration. This is done on a first-come, first-served basis. Follow the links below to individual registration forms. 

Note: Because space is limited, completing the form does not guarantee your child’s placement in the camp, class, or club.  

FLL Explore
FIRST LEGO League Explore is a research and robotics program for children aged 6 to 10. By meeting eight times over two weeks, team participants will experience a full FLL Explore season.
First Session: June 6-9 and 13-16 @ 1 p.m.
Second Session: July 11-14 and 18-21 @ 1 p.m.
Registration is full.

Robotics Club
The Robotics Club for ages 9 through 16 will focus on building, testing, and programming autonomous LEGO MINDSTORMS robots.
Tuesdays @ 5:30 - 7 p.m. 
June 7 - August 2 
Registration is full.

Garden Club
The Garden Club is meant to spark interest in gardening, nutrition, and the environment. The club is a wonderful hands-on learning opportunity, plus we get to dig in the dirt! Open to all ages.
Every other Monday @ 6 p.m.
June 13 - August 8
Planting Party: May 23 @ 6 p.m.
Registration is full.

Snap Circuits Jr.
The Snap Circuits Jr. classes will provide hours of educational fun while learning about electronics. Open to ages 8-12.
June 13-15 @ 2 p.m.
Registration is full.

Writing Camp
Do you like to write and tell stories? Join us for conversation, snacks, and writing fun. Open to ages 8-12.
June 20-23 @ 12 p.m.

NASA Astro Camp
NASA Astro Camp consists of student-centered, standards-based STEAM activities that utilize NASA resources to provide engaging, high-quality STEM learning experiences for youth.
