The Grand Forks Public_ has had a community meeting room for much of its history. Tradition has held this room as one for the library and for businesses of the community to use for professional purposes. However as the Grand Forks Public Library evolves to meet their community’s needs, the GFP_ has changed the policy for the meeting room and opened it up to be available to more of the community for more things!
In the last six months the library community meeting room has hosted birthday parties, retirement parties, support groups, health and financial education classes, flu shot clinics, and even a graduation party! Since the change to the policy the room has been steadily used by the community and fills up fast!
The space is equipped with various items including tables and chairs, white boards, podium, internet, projector & screen, conference phone, and a new 70” TV for presentations, slide shows, and movie viewings! The room is available to any member of Grand Forks County and can be booked by contacting the library and asking for the Marketing Department.
