If you like to play with LEGO® bricks and meet new friends, the LEGO® Club is for you! The club is free of charge, and open to great LEGO builders and first timers alike (suggested age is 6 to 11 years old). There is no need to sign up in advance, simply come to the children's room at the Grand Forks Public Library for LEGO® building fun. The LEGO® Club will meet one Monday per month from 3:30 to 4:40 p.m. Children under the age of 8 may not be left unattended in the library so please make plans to stay and play or find a spot in the library to sit back and relax.
This club will give children the opportunity to get creative and build with LOTS of LEGO® bricks. They can either work on their own creations, or build as a team. Each meeting will have a theme, so check out the list below to see what we will be working on each month! We will spend most of the meeting creating our masterpieces, however, those who wish to do so will have the opportunity to tell the group about their build.
The library will provide the LEGO® bricks, while the kids provide the imagination! All materials must stay at the library, so bring a camera to capture your adventures if you like. Please leave your LEGO® collection at home. We don't want you to lose your favorite pieces, however, if you have any LEGO® bricks to spare please consider donating them to the LEGO® Club at the Grand Forks Public Library.
The LEGO® Club will meet the third Monday every month.
Monday, June 15th @ 3:30 p.m.
