Active Parenting First Five Years with NDSU Extension

Join Chelsea with NDSU Extension for a four-week, in-person class at the library. Caregivers will learn about encouraging positive behavior, attachment and nurturing, and preparing for school success. Classes will run Fridays from 1:30-3:30 p.m., starting June 24 through July 15.

Shopping for healthful foods doesn’t have to put a dent in your budget, and it doesn’t have to be hard. Learn what product labels mean and some tips to make your grocery shopping easier. TEARS (Together we Educate About the Realities of Suicide) Information Session

Every suicide is a tragedy. For loved ones left behind, it can be hard to grieve and harder to cope. TEARS (Together we Educate About the Realities of Suicide) was founded on the belief that all survivors of suicide loss deserve support, connection, and hope. Join us for an information session at the library to learn more about TEARS, including support and suicide prevention education.

Karen Hillman with North Dakota Aging Services will present this information session as part of the Friends' Retuning speaker series. She will discuss the services provided to the residents of North Dakota, with a concentration on respite services and services to remain independent in the community.
