Grand Forks Public will host a traveling exhibition designed to teach kids and their families about money, thanks to a competitive national grant from the American Library Association (ALA) and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation. Thinking Money for Kids is a new multimedia experience for children ages 7 to 11, as well as their parents, caregivers, and educators. The interactive exhibit uses games, activities and a fun storyline to help children understand what money is, its function in society, money choices, and money values, such as fairness, responsibility, and charitableness. The exhibit will be on display at Grand Forks Public, along with a series of related special events, from May 23 to June 30, 2022.
Experience the magic of storytime at Grand Forks Public! Storytimes include picture books, puppet shows, music, and activities geared for different age groups. Each storytime lasts about 25 minutes.

Biographies, autobiographies, and memoirs provide a window into another person’s life and soul. They also evoke a different time and place. If you enjoy taking a peek into someone else’s life, join the Life After Life Book Club to share and discuss life stories. The book club meets the second (2) Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. Please contact us at accessinfo@gflibrary.com if you are interested in joining.
